America X Reader: Dreamland

You look over to your (f/c) alarm clock. It reads 12:05

'Oh great, its midnight and I can't sleep' you thought to yourself as you roll over onto your back and stare up at the ceiling. 'I wonder if Alfred will come back tonight'

If Alfred were to come back tonight, it would be his 3rd night in a row.

A few minutes later, you fell asleep.

A few minutes after you fell asleep, Alfred opens up your window and welcomes himself in.

"Yo, __________! Your hero is here!"

Then he notices that you're asleep

"__________? __________? Are you up __________?" He attempts to wake you up, but you won't budge.

***Your dreamland***

It was Saturday afternoon and you and Alfred were at the local amusement park, on a "field trip", or so Alfred called it. The smell of popcorn and the sound of screams filled the air.

After all the other roller coasters, you two finally hit the Medusa.

"Hey __________, Lets go ride the Medusa! It's the scariest ride here!"

Agreeing to ride it, you follow Alfred to the long ride line.

---After the ride---

You 2 came out of the car and head down the stairs. Once you get down the stairs, you realize that Alfred is shaking because of how "Scary" the ride was. He also mumbled to himself that he peed his pants, but you heard it and didn't bring it up. You on the other hand, were smiling, because you enjoyed the ride.

You looked around, trying to find a place to sit. You find a red bench about 10 feet away.

"Hey, Alfred, Want to sit down?" You said as you gesture to the red bench.

"S-s-s-sure" He follows you to the bench, a little behind you.

As soon as Alfred sits down, he sees a cheeseburger vendor, snapping him right out of his previous scared phase.

"Hey __________. Do you want a cheeseburger?" He says as he points to the Cheeseburger vendor.

"Sure. Can I have a (f/soda) please?"

"Okay. I'll be right back" He said as he started to walk to the cheeseburger vendor

You smiled. You have always thought that Alfred and his cheeseburger love were cute.

"The hero is back with lunch!" Alfred said a few minutes later while sitting down.

"You're back."

"With lunch." He pointed out as he handed you your food

"Thanks" You replied as you took the food from Alfred's hand.

"Your welcome __________." You could barely understand him say through his full mouth.

You laughed at him and took a bite of your food.

(This is where my idea of cheesy comes in)

"Oh crap, I got Ketchup on my lips" You said a few minutes later.

"You don't need one" Alfred said as he leaned in to kiss you.

A few seconds later, Alfred pulled away and stared into your (e/c) eyes, filled with shock.

After a moment of awkwardness, Alfred was the first one to talk.

"Sorry if that freaked you out."

"N-n-no, it's okay. Thanks for getting the ketchup off"

"No problem… __________?"

"Yeah?"

"I-I love you" He was blushing deeply.

You sat there for a minute, attempting to put together what just happened.

'Is the crush of my life really admitting his love for me?'

You hug Alfred, tears of joy starting to flow out. "I love you too"

(Cheesy time is over)

*** Out of dreamland***

You wake up to Alfred kissing you

"Hey, your awake" He chuckles nervously.

*** Alfred's POV while you're in dreaming***

"__________? __________? Are you up __________?" He attempts to wake you up, but you won't budge.

'Holy crap, ___________ is a heavy sleeper.' I think to myself as I try to wake her up.

"Yo __________, your hero is here." I was starting to get annoyed at __________ for not waking up.

After the 5th attempt to wake __________ up, I gave up and began to climb out the window.

'Wait' I began to think to myself while I climbed out of the window 'What if I need to kiss her to get her to wake up?  It always works in the movies, so it must work in the real world'

So I go over to __________'s bed and lean over her.

'Is it really good to kiss her now? Yes. I need to let her know how I feel.'

With that said, I kissed __________. And almost instantly, she woke up.

"Hey, you're awake" I chuckle nervously.

***Back you your POV***

You rub your eyes. "Yeah, I am. Why were you kissing me?"

"Because I…" he seemed to have a hard time getting his words out. "I love you __________"


A few seconds later, you hug him, catching Alfred by surprise.

"I love you too"
